Ethan + Taylor! >> Intimate Bachelor Farmer Wedding (Minneapolis, MN)

Ever wonder what my dream wedding would look like?
Like, if I’m the one playing bride instead of photog, dream wedding. That one.
I can tell you it would follow Ethan and Taylor’s intimate Bachelor Farmer wedding preeeetty darn closely.

For starters: getting ready at home.
T’s childhood home, full of cats + family keepsakes, a parent still tending to the dishes.
Comfortable. Meaningful.
A special vanity in Mom’s room where a young Taylor would get her hair brushed, where a bride Taylor adds the finishing touches.

The heirlooms.
The many sentimental additions.
Taylor wore the same earrings her mom wore on her wedding day.
We did portraits in her grandmother’s bridal crown.
It felt like such a beautiful rite of passage, T honoring the women that came before her.

The non-traditional style.
E+T holding on to each other, instead of bouquet of flowers.
Ethan’s head to toe look, completely distinctive + so very stylish. Bolo ties for the win!
And holy smokes, that GREEN dress!
Choosing to walk in and out of their ceremony together, a team before and after.
Choosing The Bachelor Farmer as host, getting to do quirky portraits in a room covered completely in afghans. If that’s not the dream all by itself.

The intimacy.
Personal vows that had everyone in tears. (Good call on that tissue hand-out prior to the ceremony, Josey.)
Stirring speeches. (More teary eyes.)
Being included on a guest list that didn’t go above two dozen—every person at their table mattered, and it was wildly humbling to be one of the lucky ones present.
Their attitudes of open joy + sincere presence.

What. A. Day.
