There are all sorts of things that give me the warm fuzzies when it comes to Jas and Josie’s engagement session. (So much so, that I’ve already updated my official portfolio with 2 of the images below, I love it all so much.)

I doubt you’ve seen a scroll bar this long on one of my engagement sessions blogs.

I've been asked several times if I get sick of shooting in the same location. If the familiar becomes boring and limits my creativity.
To which I respond gracious no, pal.
To which I'd show Cathleen and Alec's engagement session at my favorite park in the Cities.

You know how it is when you go to a restaurant, you're scanning the menu, and one of your ingredient pops up? (See also: pomegranate, fig, lamb.) You know, the thing where you immediately stop, you tap the menu in a moment of triumph, and order it up without another glance?

They're Dandy.
They're Kuhl.
They're Dani and Andy Kuhl.
(Almost.)

Since we first connected in May, I have learned that anytime I see Britt + Ben's names in my inbox, whatever nugget is inside is going to be wrapped in beautiful prose and genuine enthusiasm, and while I read, I will wish they lived closer to Rochester. If you're lucky enough to know them, that certainly won't sound surprising.

Anyone wanna guess what my favorite word is?

I'm happy about a lot of things as I post this afternoon.

Richie and Alex. Alex and Richie. They've got quite a lot to smile about, I'd say.

Anyone wanting a winter session, you can now thank Veronica and Cody for showing me how stupidly sweet they can be.
 

Can I let you in on a little secret?
I've never done a golden hour session in the AM before.
I've either been too nervous to suggest it, and/or my couple has flat out said they aren't morning people.
Because really, who wants to voluntarily wake up before the sun to curl your hair and road trip out to a cold and empty field, still wet with dew? I get it. Most days I'm in the same camp. 
But when Brittlyn and Taylor told me they were game for it, WHOOP, I was settin' that alarm clock with nothing but excitement and anticipation.
