Ben + Britt >> Engaged at Devil's Lake, WI!

Since we first connected in May, I have learned that anytime I see Britt + Ben's names in my inbox, whatever nugget is inside is going to be wrapped in beautiful prose and genuine enthusiasm, and while I read, I will wish they lived closer to Rochester. If you're lucky enough to know them, that certainly won't sound surprising.

+ Guess what—the real life version is even better and it comes with local beer in gift bags! ;) Fond sentiments for New Glarus Brewing aside, while we were shooting at Devil's Lake, a certain piece of their initial inquiry kept popping into my brain.

After 12 years, these high school sweethearts are getting hitched! But there is no finally about it, Ben and I have always known we are a team and have been comfortable just being together. 

It was easy to see the comfort, easy to feel the love, and so wonderful to be warmed by the glow of it all. (And by the warming glow of exertion as we hauled it to the top of the trail to catch the smallest, surprise window of sun for the afternoon.)

B + B, I'm happy to know you lovebirds and I can't wait for those nuptial shenanigans next October! And for you blog readers, now you know that whenever you see Britt + Ben's faces in the blog, it's gonna be pretty stellar.
