Kendra + Matt! >> Stylish Destination Wedding at Hotel Teatro (Denver, Colorado)

They say rain on your wedding day is good luck… but how about we update that old adage to reflect our modern times in 2020?
We ought now say that that changing your city and state a few months prior is good luck.
Having to swap out vendors last minute is good luck.
And for the best possible odds: switch the date itself days in advance, as new covid restrictions would have made it impossible just one day later. (I stand by my personal rule to always try and arrive to a destination wedding 2 days early—phew!)
And so we have Kendra + Matt’s stylish Denver wedding! The luckiest couple of them all by our new standards. ;)

And what a perfect wedding to post on New Year’s Eve. For the glam style, yes—I am l.o.v.i.n.g Kendra’s bold bridal look and Matt’s navy tuxedo—but also for the feels. NYE has a way of making us all wax poetic in reflection, with 2020 bringing more than usual to the table. It was a doozie of a year, but days like this with the K+M crew reaffirm how special this job is, how sacred these moments are, and how much I love getting to create for stellar couples that are both hella stylish and full of fun. I’m continually inspired by duos that choose to commit to a life together, especially in a scenario that doesn’t make the logistics too easy. How can it not be lucky when love wins in such a beautiful way?
