What’s their secret, do you suppose?
Was their party prep the source, having closed down a vineyard the night before with their carousing? Maybe just the group itself, boasting bridesmaids that literally had me laughing as soon as I arrived? I’m sure both played a part, keeping stress at bay.
Was it the setting? Fields on all sides, on the outskirts of town, at a barn full of the requisite twinkly lights? Mayowood is pretty special, it wouldn’t surprise me if the built-in ambiance was part of the secret sauce that allowed everyone to fully relax.
I think you probably know how this is gonna end up, but let’s sneak one more option in—how about the team of vendors all working together to give these two a seamless day? I tried those macarons, they were deeeelicious. I know that DJ—Sam is the best. And with Liz running the show, it was always gonna turn out great. Throw in the most epic bridal train I’ve ever seen off the Annika rack, and yowzas, how could those smiles not be beaming.
Everything and everyone played their part, but ultimately it’s that Megan + Kyle magic at work here. They planned a beautiful day, leaving room to actually enjoy instead of just execute every moment. They were present. Their energy was vibrant and magnetic. +They were ready to get married,yo! I was quite happily pulled into their orbit all day, and you can trust I was smiling alllmost as much behind my camera.
