Tristan + Courtney >> Campground Wedding at The Lakeside Barn! (Nobleboro, Maine)
I just went and counted so you don’t have to—
A whopping 24 hugs are contained within this blog post of Tristan + Courtney’s wedding day.
And if that doesn’t give you a good indication about the kind of sweetness herein, I dunno what will.
(Kisses maybe, though haven’t added those up. Yet.)
It was the little things on that day—
A cute lil campground setting, tucked in a beautiful pocket of Maine. Souped up golf carts. Gifts to go around. Not one, but two cakes. One of the cutest “guest book” ideas I’ve seen yet. Lobster socks for all!
And the biggies—
A fluffy lil Pomeranian named Lorenzo. Great Grandma’s ring. An heirloom necklace saved for the occasion. Waiting to see each other before the traditional walk down the aisle. Handwritten vows, deftly balancing humor with sentiment. A serenade from one of Tristan’s sisters before the celebratory kiss to end the ceremony. And ultimately, a wedding halfway across the country for many, where every guest was special, and their presence was chosen.
It was a celebration well worth 24 hugs (and then some) and I feel so incredibly honored to have been chosen myself by Tristan and Courtney to document it all.
Congrats, T+C!
I wish I could reach through the screen and squeeze ya both, but for now I’ll settle for taking you back in time to September 7, 2019. ;)
