Bryan + Hailey >> Fun + Outdoor Golf Course Wedding (Prior Lake, MN)

To me, asking people what they do for work has always seemed so flimsy. (Hello, fellow INTJs!) Especially when there are more important things to get to the bottom of, like if you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? (Side note: real excited to see honeymoon snaps from Saint Lucia from these two.) Ordinarily I wouldn’t ask or retell that kind of thing, but in H+B’s case, their careers feel more telling than something like “bank teller.” Bryan is a firefighter. Hailey is a nurse. Care and empathy are their every day. They’re often confronted with the worst of scenarios, and it makes you wonder whether this pair is more inclined to make the best of things as a direct consequence. Knowing the fragility of it all + making the ride that much sweeter. More fun. More spontaneous and impactful.

From the perspective of my lens, it certainly seems that way. There was so much love, so much life, squeezed into this whole day. Big belly coexisted with rogue tears in such a wonderful combination. Care and empathy not only for each other, but shown every guest present. (Not to mention the safest sparkler exit I think I could ever hope for with these two present.)

Makes you wish you could relive it again and again.
