This wedding, this blog, has got all that I love about weddings thrown together then amplified x3. (I know, we’re setting the bar high from the get go, but you’ll see. Pinky promise.)

It was just everything!
It was an intentional atmosphere of easy elegance. A day centered around family, full of kiddos and good cheer. (Notice that Scott is holding a sippy cup right before they’re announced into their reception, lol. Dad duty.) Getting to work alongside such an all-star team of vendors, all of whom I’d heartily recommend. Plenty of fun personality laced throughout, like a cigar bar and custom boots for our Texan bride. Meaningful details, like the locket and key worn between Laura and her son. And that shot you’ll see of those two reading a letter together? That (OMG, I’m already tearing up again!) was a set of heartfelt vows written by our groom Scott to their son. Iit was the balance of sweetness and playfulness, like the prank Laura played on Scott, leading him to believe he was getting a decadent Iowa Cyclones cake, only to cut to Texas fighting music and an orange interior. (You’ll see how Scott reacted to that one midway through your scroll.)

And mostly: it was the way S+L clearly care for each other and those around them , adding such a rich layer to their wedding day. So inspiring and such a joy! Laura + Scott, you two are the real deal and I’m so thrilled to have gotten to document this day for you! Congrats, babes!
