It was the kind of thing you always hope to hear when you’re talking with a couple before their wedding…

Ohhh, yesssss! This is gold! Golden music to my ears! Michaela and Nate are my dream clients! What a way to start my shooting season, with a couple who values the same things that I do when it comes to wedding photos. (And as it turns out, it was also the best of best worlds, as the details were actually jaw dropping.) Being given permission to follow the stories more than the stuff was such a welcome and inspiring mindset. It allows you to sink deeper into the day with eyes open and fingers ready at the shutter.

TBH, I’m not sure my fingers ever left the trigger, so full was this day. Full of beauty and family love. Full of new rings twisting on fingers. Full of “floral explosions” that set the mood with their fragrance. Full of candids. And full of laughter.
