Rachael + Jordan >> Engaged!

This was one of those as-close-to-perfect-as-you-can-get sessions.
(Even forgetting shoes at home, yes. Because the grace and general enthusiasm shown afterwards was enough to forget the forgetting altogether.)

For starters, we had the orchard all to ourselves. It was the site of their first date, and we were allowed the run of the place. Zipping through fallow fields on our golf cart, the hills smelling of fresh donuts being prepared for the morning crowd, and the perfect rainbow display of fall foliage, I stand firm in that close-to-perfect opinion.

And we haven’t even gotten to the best part.

I don’t know if you know this, R+J, but every time you break away from a kiss you’re quick to exchange an I love you. Seriously, every time. It was something of a marvel how habitual it seemed, although the sentiment never felt casual. I’ve never before seen that. Which is no doubt why this session is one of my new all time favorites.

They’ve just got the magic.
(And the donuts. And the apples. And the goats.)
