Hello, Scarlett! >> Fresh 48 In-Hospital

I already knew my job was cool. Most Saturdays, I’m there getting to witness the first moments of a couple’s married life together.
But this—this!—is even a bit more magical:
The first moments of life full stop.

K+A invited me to the hospital earlier this month to document some first family memories with baby Scarlett. And I sort of still can’t wrap my mind around it that this is the beginning of everything for that little lady. That much in the same way that I look at snapshots of my parents when they had a new baby Kimi in tow, little S is going to look back at this album of her mom and dad in 10, 20, 30 years. Wonder who she’ll be then as she exclaims over how tiny she is and how young her parents are? (Wonder if Al will still be rocking the epic beard and man bun combo or if that’ll be it’s own set of curiosities. ;) )
