I found Heidi like I have most of my models: online. I believe she had left a casual comment on one of her friend’s photos (who I had photographed) mentioning how the shot was great and that it looked like fun. A few clicks through Heidi’s profile confirmed that photographing her would be fun for me as well–do you SEE how blue those eyes are? This girl’s lovely! Turns out I was right, and what has been one of my favorite shoots ever commenced yesterday on the St. Paul campus of the U. It was a gorgeous October day and I am thrilled with the images we created together. 
Blue, blue, blue. Perfect.
Kudos to the landscapers at the U. They did a lovely job of providing an array of lovely backgrounds for us to choose from.

That reflector is the bane of my existence when wind is involved! Although we did end up getting the shot so all is good.
I had tears in my eyes after this set. Cheesy, yes, but when I know I’ve gotten thee shot the happiness cannot be contained.
