Self Portrait Sunday!
And how refreshing it was today.
With no specific location in mind and an ensemble coordinated minutes before I set out, this one was spontaneous, relaxing, and quite enjoyable. After a bit of driving, I ended up parking on the side of the road in Oxbow–the local zoo a few minutes from home. The way the sun was coming through the rows of these trees was toooo lovely to pass up.
&Tadaaaa:
I curated the skirt from a vintage store in Duluth a few years ago and the top (such a gem) was pulled hastily from the racks at Savers and into my loving arms. I say top, but it is actually a dress worn backwards and with one of the shoulders tucked down and underneath. I’ve been in a habit lately of modeling my clothes backwards which has proven to be welcome challenge–and quite a fun one as well. I do have big plans for my lovely, cranberry dress which shall reveal themselves to you in September. Perhaps on another Sunday.
This was my test shot, making sure the focus was on point. Happened to actually work and I thought it deserved an edit.
Hope you all are having the loveliest of days today and are rested and ready to start another week of work. Only 2 left to go until Labor Day weekend!
