But really, thee cutest, no? Must be that one quarter of Halverson genes they’ve inherited.
I jest, I jest.
Got the opportunity to photograph my adorable first cousins once removed (thanks Genealogy.com for providing me with the proper terminology) on a b-e-a-utiful October day last weekend. I am quite happy with the photos we made out with from the afternoon and I must say, there’s something very special about photographing children. There are many adults who have grown fearful of the camera and the kinds of things it might expose… Kids, however, are completely oblivious and will give you honest expressions–like when they’re stricken with grief that they can’t go walk along the forest trails. Even though you don’t always get a toothy grin every time, you get so much more.
Love! And those pink shoes–aaaah, adorable.

This doll of a girl was such a delight to photograph. At the end of our session it got into a routine of 1) “Kimi, come here.” 2) Her striking a pose 3) Expectantly waiting for me to snap the shot. These last ones are alllll Greta.
