This was the 3rd time that I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Amber. And let me say, this girl is ah-mazing! I have also decided to give her her own blog category, as I anticipate many more shoots with this lovely lady–the next of which involves a red convertible and some Jackie-Os (!!!) But that is for a later date. For now: a sampling of our foray around Duluth.
I found this dress for a whopping $3 at Vintage Duluth and have been waiting for the opportune shoot to showcase it. However, what I really should be posting is a before and after of the garment… It’s actually a very modest ankle-length dress with a high collar and long sleeves. Transformed with a few gathers and cinches, it’s now a short and flowy romantic little dress perfect for this old wooden bridge.
(And for you Duluthians, this lovely spot is located off Garfield right by the Blatnik.)
Props to this girl.
It was fa-reezing and terribly windy on the beach today but she was amazing despite the elements!
One of my very favorite shots in my portfolio to date. Amber just has a way of making everything look effortlessly beautiful and timeless, which is why she is also my very favorite model to photograph.
The top that she is wearing is another vintage piece, this one pulled from the treasure trove that is Grandma’s attic.
Browsing through the aisles of Michael’s one fine afternoon, I happened upon these feathers, and hence, happened upon the vision. Once again, Amber nailed it. Isn’t she just the loveliest bird?
